Community - Schedule production resources

Directories:

	Community		For production systems please load the current XML file. The XML file format is: Schedule_YYYY-MM.xml. CPSReporting_YYYY-MM.xlsx is an Excel file. It is generated using the Schedule XML file and a XSLT transform file. The report provides an alternate view to the collated Schedule and online Schedule. The data in this file should NOT be loaded or used within production systems.
	Hospital (Section H)		For production systems please load the current XML file. The XML file format is: HML_YYYY-MM-VV.xml. HMLReporting_YYYY-MM.xlsx is an Excel file. It is generated using the HML XML file and a XSLT transform file. The report provides an alternate view to the collated HML and online HML. The data in this file should NOT be loaded or used within production systems.
	Schedule schema files		The Schedule XML Schema can be used to validate the XML Pharmaceutical Schedule distributed by Pharmac. For further information README.html.
	Schedule example transform files (XML -> XSLT)		The directory contains example transform files. These can be applied against the XML file(s). Further information is below.

General notes:

• The display in browser function may not work correctly for some of the files. You may need to right click, select "save as", before opening the file from your machine.

Schedule publication notes:

• The publication date is around the 23rd of the month prior to it becoming effective.
• Documentation is included in the Schedule XML schema.
• The printed Schedule is produced from the XML file using XSLT and TeX.
• Other than the pack id (Pharmacode), all entity identifiers are generated by Pharmac and do not relate to any other terminology. They can occasionally change without notice.
• Although technical support is only provided for stakeholders in the New Zealand pharmaceutical claiming network, Pharmac staff will endeavour to answer occasional queries sent to enquiry@pharmac.govt.nz.

Transforming Schedule XML files:    XSL files with "Aggregated" in the filename can be run over multiple XML files.

   Transformation software:

   Pharmac uses Oxygen - xml editor for creating and testing of XML/XSLT transformations.
