Subsidy is available for disposable insulin syringes, needles, and pen needles if prescribed on the same form as the one used for the supply of insulin or when prescribed for an insulin patient and the prescription is endorsed accordingly. Pharmacists may annotate the prescription as endorsed where there exists a record of prior dispensing of insulin.
